From Foundations to System-Level Change: RareKids-CAN’s Next Chapter

What does this mean?

Through our revised strategic plan, RareKids-CAN is shifting from primarily supporting individual pediatric rare disease clinical trial projects to a greater focus on system-level initiatives.

This includes strengthening how children, families, and researchers connect and share information, while also driving policy reforms to improve access to clinical trials and treatments for children with rare diseases in Canada.
